Day 01 -: Colombo – Pinnawala – Kandy

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Colombo, heading towards the scenic hill capital of Kandy. En route, make a memorable stop at the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for rescued and orphaned elephants. Here, you can observe these gentle giants up close as they bathe, feed, and roam in a semi-natural habitat — a truly heartwarming experience. Continuing your drive through lush countryside and rolling hills, you’ll arrive in Kandy, a city rich in culture and beauty. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk around Kandy Lake, followed by a visit to the popular Kandy City Centre (KCC) Mall for some shopping or local dining. The day ends with a comfortable overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy, preparing you for more exploration ahead.

Day 02 – Kandy City Tour

Start your day with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most revered religious sites in Sri Lanka. Next, head to the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, home to a vast collection of exotic plants and ancient trees. Continue your cultural journey with a visit to the peaceful Bahirawakanda Temple, known for its towering Buddha statue and panoramic views. Then, stop at the Kandy View Point to take in breathtaking sights of the city and surrounding hills. The evening is free for leisure or shopping in Kandy, allowing you to unwind at your own pace. Enjoy another comfortable overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 03 – Colombo City Tour

After breakfast, travel back to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s bustling capital city. Upon arrival, begin your city tour with a visit to the Colombo National Museum, which showcases the island’s rich cultural heritage. Continue to the sacred Gangaramaya Temple, a blend of modern architecture and traditional spirituality. Next, head to the iconic Lotus Tower, the tallest structure in South Asia, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city skyline. Later, relax at Galle Face Beach, a popular seaside promenade perfect for a leisurely stroll. End the day with some shopping at One Galle Face Mall or Havelock City Mall, before settling in for your overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 04 – Departure

Enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxing at your leisure before your journey comes to an end. When it’s time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, taking with you wonderful memories of your Sri Lankan adventure.
